The dancing hankerchief, formally known as the “mahrameh” in Arabic, is a fun way to add a touch of the Palestinian culture to your party. The mahramehs are usually passed out to the women so that they may dance with them. This is to show excitement for the bride and groom and add more color to the party. The trimming on our handkerchiefs create a light jingling sound, adding a bit more flair than the typical ones.
